Welcoming the UCI Mountain Bike World Series

Lake Placid's legacy of world class sporting competition continues as we welcome the UCI World Cup to the trails of Mt Van Hoevenberg. Over three days, September 27-29, racers will compete in two races: the UCI Mountain Bike Cross-Country World Cup (XCO) and the UCI Mountain Bike Short Track World Cup (XCC). These high-adrenaline competitions will be a thrill for spectators, featuring the top male and female mountain bike cross-country and short track riders from around the world.
