Discover the Adirondacks

The High Peaks Region consists of the historic Adirondack vacation destinations of Lake Placid, Keene, and Saranac Lake, along with a variety of events and festivals, natural attractions, and outdoor activities.

Further afield, but not too far away, there's fly fishing in the Ausable River in the Whiteface Region (also the "Biking Capital of the Adirondacks"), New York's Adirondack Coast of Lake Champlain where American Revolution battles were waged, and the Adirondack Hub's thriving arts community set between large wilderness tracts.

Lake Placid and the High Peaks region are naturally beautiful and full of adventure, talented local artists, chefs, and brewers, and ample space to get out and enjoy our incredibly wild public lands.
