The Adirondacks welcomes you

Hello, neighbors! For years, the strong relationship between Canada and the Adirondacks has transcended borders and we love welcoming you here. Some of us even know the words to "Oh, Canada!" and even if we can't sing it very well, we do it with real enthusiasm.

No matter the season, Lake Placid is truly amazing and it's a great spot for a getaway close to home, full of activities and adventures. Together we share a lot of passion for cool outdoor adventures, whether it's dog sledding in the winter, waterfall hikes in the summer, or spring and fall golf. Lake Placid is also home to tours and interactive experiences, sunrise paddles and sunset dining, all of which are here for you when the time is right. Whether we see you this weekend or later in the year, there's no expiration date on an Adirondack welcome!

Dear Canada...

We know this summer is a bit different than most, and that now might not be the right time to visit us.

Please take a moment to read this letter, from our hearts right here in the Adirondacks to yours, all across Canada.
