The Lake Placid Sinfonietta is the Adirondacks' Orchestra, unleashing the power of music to entertain, educate and inspire people of all ages.
The Lake Placid Sinfonietta is a professional summer chamber orchestra of twenty top orchestral musicians from across the country. Originally a private Hotel Orchestra in 1917, the Sinfonietta is proud to have been a community supported non-profit for the last 40 years. Symphony Series
The Lake Placid Sinfonietta's Symphony Series will be held at local venues in Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.
Adirondack Series
In addition to the Symphony and Park series, the Lake Placid Sinfonietta offers a selection of special concerts at alternate venues throughout the Adirondacks.
