Lake Placid Sinfonietta Symphony Series
The Lake Placid Sinfonietta is the Adirondacks' Orchestra, unleashing the power of music to entertain, educate and inspire people of all ages.
The Lake Placid Sinfonietta is a professional summer chamber orchestra of twenty top orchestral musicians from across the country. Originally a private Hotel Orchestra in 1917, the Sinfonietta is proud to have been a community supported non-profit for the last 40 years.
Symphony Series Dates:
Performances take place at 7:30p.m. across several stunning local venues. Mark your calendars for these dates:
- July 12 | St. Agnes Curch, Lake Placid
- July 18 | Harrietstown Town Hall, Saranac Lake
- July 26 | Whiteface Lodge, Lake Placid (Chamber Ensemble)
- August 1 | Pendragon Theater, Saranac Lake (Chamber Ensemble)
- August 9 | St. Agnes Church, Lake Placid
- August 16 | St. Agnes Church, Lake Placid

Park Series
The Lake Placid Sinfonietta also offers free concerts in Mid's Park, where all are welcome to enjoy live classical music lakeside with scenic views. Concerts are held on Wednesdays, July 8-August 12, at 7:00p.m. (Rain site: St. Agnes Church)
Adirondack Series
In addition to the Symphony and Park series, the Lake Placid Sinfonietta offers a selection of special concerts at alternate venues throughout the Adirondacks.
