Adirondack Rail Trail Community Day - Location Change!

Location: Harrietstown Town Hall
Mileage Options: 1 - 30 miles
Benefiting: Adirondack Rail Trail Association
During the celebration of the Adirondack Rail Trail, participants will have the opportunity to join in stewardship projects and explore the trail with an interactive scavenger hunt featuring some very cool prizes. The day culminates with a community party featuring craft breweries, food vendors, live music and a raffle. New this year is the addition of shuttle service for those who would like to experience the entire 34-mile corridor one way.
Note: A cost will be associated with booking shuttle service, which you can do during registration.
Event Schedule:
ALL DAY: Enjoy the Trail (dress for weather)
9am-1pm: ARTA will be at the Farmers Market (rain or shine)
10am-12pm: Volunteer Service Projects (updated info below)
6pm-830pm: FREE Community Celebration inside Harrietstown Hall (music, food, vendors)
No shuttle services will be offered.
Service Projects:
The projects have been paired down to just two: Kiosk & Pet Waste Station installation. Details on both and to sign up are here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/rail-trail-day-service-projects. Dress for weather. We'd like to get these in and still need your help.
Celebration:
The FREE party will go on as planned only we're moving it indoors to the Harriestown Town Hall which is a fabulous venue to catch an incredible band like Reese Fulmer and the Carriage House Band. Food from The Belvedere will be available along with beverages from Hex & Hop and RiverTrail Breweries, plus you'll be able to visit with a ton of great community vendors and trail supporters.
Raffle & Prizes:
There are some amazing raffle prizes to give away. Tickets can be purchased online and you don't need to be present to win.
Proceeds from the event support the Adirondack Rail Trail Association, ensuring accessibility and conservation for future generations.
