Cruise the hills of three towns and test yourself on the Ironman Bike Loop. Real Ironmen and Ironwomen do this twice!

LENGTH: 56-mile loop.

DIRECTIONS: Take Route 73 south out of Lake Placid, pass the Cascade Lakes, and head down the infamous Keene Hill. Turn left on Route 9N toward Jay and then turn left on Route 86, toward Wilmington and Lake Placid. For a break from the main road, take a left onto River Road and then a right on Route 73 by the ski jumps.

Scenic drive

The Ironman Bike Loop is also a scenic drive. Cruise the hills of three other towns. Follow the Ausable River and experience the gorgeous Cascade Lakes.

Approximate travel Time is 2.5 hours. LENGTH: 56 mile loop.
