To reach the summit, you’ll hike the fifth-of-a-mile-long Alpine Nature Trail to enjoy truly spectacular 360-degree panoramic views of the Adirondacks, New England, and Canada. A visit to the Adirondacks is not complete without a trip to the top!

  • Please note: The Alpine Nature Trail climb can be steep and slippery, so proper footwear is essential - check the daily weather report to prepare.

  • The Nature Trail to the Summit is not wheelchair accessible; but the elevator carved deep into the mountain is fully accessible so don't miss those amazing views!
