River Ranch is a private 90-acre Lake Placid Wedding Venue offering panoramic Adirondack High Peaks and MacIntyre Range views for fully customized tented weddings. Located minutes from the Village of Lake Placid, the property features a level event field for ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, dining, and dancing, along with multiple photography locations and a maintained service road for vendors and guest transportation.
Available from June through Columbus Day, River Ranch offers land-only and estate-and-land rental options with a five-day rental period and capacity for up to 350 guests. Couples can create a private estate wedding, outdoor wedding, or large tented wedding in Lake Placid without the limitations of a traditional venue. All River Ranch weddings require professional planning, approved rentals, licensed catering, event insurance, and supporting wedding vendors.

REQUIRED WEDDING VENDORS AND SERVICES
The following required items are not included in the River Ranch rental and are contracted at the renter’s expense, with their planner guiding the selection, contracting, and coordination of each vendor and service:
Approved rental company for tents, lighting, tables, chairs, tabletop items, restrooms, and related event rentals
Licensed and insured caterer with the appropriate New York State liquor license
Professional wedding planning services
Event insurance listing the property owner as additionally insured
Wedding vendors, including photography, entertainment, transportation, florals, and other event services
All weddings at River Ranch are managed through the property’s designated wedding planner. Planning services are required and contracted separately from the venue rental.
