Lake Placid Classic & 10K

Originally started in 1970 as a marathon run from Paul Smiths to Lake Placid, this family friendly race has evolved into a beloved annual event featuring the beautiful Olympic Village of Lake Placid and some of the most breathtaking fall scenery in the Adirondacks. The 50th Anniversary of the Lake Placid Classic Half Marathon and 10K was be held Saturday, October 9, 2021, keeping the tradition alive!

Best of all, proceeds are donated to local youth organizations that are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local young people. It’s why we run!
