Lake Placid is proud to host the longest running IRONMAN in the United States! As many of you prepare to support your athlete on their 140.6-mile journey through the Adirondack region, we want to address some important elements of being a spectator and guest in the region.

Lake Placid and the surrounding communities welcome you as their guests. This iconic race course goes through communities where people live, work, and play. Help us represent the IRONMAN family by being a good steward.

At IRONMAN we believe all athletes and spectators are ambassadors of IRONMAN and have a duty to be mindful and respectful of the communities we race in.

Below is a code of conduct to share with every member of your party. By following these simple guidelines, we can continue the positive relationship we have with local residents.
