Ride with the Pros – Youth Ride with Christopher Blevins
Young riders are invited to join Christopher Blevins and other U.S. professional mountain bikers on ride along during the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series in Lake Placid.
This special event is designed to inspire the next generation of riders. Participants will join the pros on a casual group ride, giving them the chance to ask questions, pick up tips, and experience the thrill of being part of a world-class cycling weekend. The event will begin immediately after The Grind Junior XC MTB Race and will be capped at 75 riders.
Event Details
Parking – Navigate to 31 Van Hoevenberg Way, Lake Placid NY 12946 and follow the signs to park in Lot B or C on venue.
Check In – Check in at the entertainment stage on the North Plaza of the Mountain Pass Lodge beginning at 9:15. Please arrive early. All participants will be given a commemorative plate to attach to their handlebars.
What Bring – Riders must have their own bike and helmet. Bring a drink bottle, clothing to be out on the trail for one hour.
The Ride – Riders will assemble in the plaza in front of the main lodge between 9:15 and 9:30 am to meet the Pros and head out on to the trails of Mt Van Hoevenberg for approximately one hour. There will be Mt Van Hoevenberg ride instructors along to help. No parents on the ride please.
