Save the date! The Whiteface Mountain Uphill Bike Race returns on Saturday, June 6, 2026! More details are coming soon, but check out the information from last year's event:
The race starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Visitors Bureau, 5753 NYS RT 86, Wilmington, NY 12997.
Packet pick-up is available Friday, 4:00-6:00 p.m., and on race day, Saturday, June 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Whiteface Visitors Bureau (5753 NY-86, Wilmington, NY 12997).
Packet will include your bib, t-shirt, and $15 local dining coupon.
There will be a bag drop vehicle at the starting line if you desire a change of clothes for the top. Please make sure your name and phone number are on or in the bag.
We use a timing mat and do a rolling start instead of a mass start. You will get a timing chip with your bib.
If you don’t feel comfortable riding your bike back down, you may have someone meet you at the top. We will sell spectator passes for $12 at registration. These are cash only and a per person price.
If you like a challenge, this is the course for you. This USATF-certified course covers 8 miles over an 8% grade up Whiteface Mountain's scenic Veterans' Memorial Highway.
