Unearth A Program for Families

Join the Lake Placid Public Library every Tuesday, June 30–August 4 at 10:00 a.m. for FREE programming for families! The Summer Reading theme this year is "Unearth a Story." Look forward to spending the summer learning about paleontology, archaeology, and geology.

June 30 - Live music with Deb Cavanaugh: Jam out at our official Summer Reading kickoff!

July 7 - REPCO Reptile Show: Check out some reptiles! Shows at 10am & 2pm.

July 14 - Written in Stone: Reveal ancient gems and rocks with a geologist.

July 21 - It’s Alive! Learn about decomposition and play in the dirt.

July 28 - Adirondack Raptors: Meet living descendants of the dinosaurs!

August 4 - Dr Quinton’s Fossils: Look at fossils with a real paleontologist.
