Trillium Chamber Players October Concert

October 18 at 7pm – Hand House, Elizabethtown

October 19 at 2pm – St. Eustace Episcopal Church, Lake Placid

There is so much contrast in this program of short delights. On the one hand are several unusual works including Tarantula for solo viola; Disturbed Nights by John Hawkins, a set of variations inspired by a “mildly disturbing picture;” and an oboe-viola duet entitled Brief Encounters. On the other hand is a lighthearted trio by Pucihar; selections from Aaron Copland’s Old American Songs for voice and piano; and  Schoenfield’s heartfelt prayer, Achat Sha’alti for flute and piano.
