Book talk and signing with Edward Pitts

Retired attorney and author Edward Pitts will be giving an illustrated lecture of his recently released Syracuse University Press book, Sketching the Adirondacks: Letters from the Wilderness, on June 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society/Museum. In his book, Pitts tells the story of two young artists, Jervis McEntee and Joseph Tubby, who trekked across the central Adirondacks in 1851. This program is free and open to the public.
