Discover Moths with an ADK Naturalist

Moths: the lesser seen relatives of butterflies. But did you know that moth species outnumber butterfly species 6:1? Many are nocturnal, but some fly during the day as well! Join an Adirondack Mountain Club naturalist for a moth program at Cascade Welcome Center. We will have two different kinds of moth "traps" set up to bring the moths out of the darkness and into the light. Join us and learn all about these fuzzy insect friends!

This program is suitable for all ages, but children must be supervised.
Registration is strongly recommended, but not required. Register to ensure your spot in this program.
