Annual Long Pond Sprint Fundraiser
Join us for the Annual Long Pond Sprint Fundraiser! On Saturday, October 11th, at 10 am.
Choose your own adventure during this annual event to help raise money for two great causes - The Adirondack Scholarship Foundation and The Long Pond Conservancy. Taking place at Pok-O-MacCready Camps, the race was created to promote competition, social recreation, charitable giving, and environmental appreciation. This is a limited field event; only the first 50 runners to sign up can do the exclusive Rattlesnake Mt. northern approach, and this year we're excited to announce that for full course, half-marathon runners, the course will be run IN REVERSE! An Oktoberfest themed picnic will be following the event.
TIME: 10 am start time.
Options include:
Pond Sprint ($50): a 13(ish)-mile adventure race, covering an Adirondack Mountain course around Long Pond, in Willsboro, NY, following portions of the famed Patch Sprint route, climbing Sugarloaf and Rattlesnake mountains.
Pond 5-Miler ($40): 5 miles climbing up Rattlesnake Mountain and following the ending of the Pond Sprint.
Pond Hike: Self-guided for walkers who choose their own course.
