International Biathlon Day at Mt Van Hoevenberg

Celebrate International Biathlon Day with a free, hands-on introduction to one of the most exciting winter sports in the world! Join us at Mt Van Hoevenberg for an interactive experience hosted in partnership with New York Ski Educational Foundation (NYSEF).

Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of biathlon shooting with guidance from experienced Mt Van Hoevenberg staff and NYSEF coaches. Guests ages 12 and up can try .22 rifle shooting, while younger participants can take aim with laser rifles in a safe and fun environment.

To help recreate the excitement of race day, SkiErgs will also be available so visitors can elevate their heart rate and experience the challenge biathletes face when transitioning from intense physical activity to precision shooting.
