John Brown Farm will offer a free, guided hike on the Potatofield Loop at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12. The walk of about 2 miles has an elevation gain of about 80 ft, and includes a scenic view, weather permitting. Along the way, we'll pass by two gardens representing historically grown crops, and we'll talk about the history of these lands and ties with the John Brown era.
Meet the guide in front of the John Brown Farm historic house. Appropriate shoes and a water bottle required. Registration preferred. Large groups must get in touch.
