Forging a Legacy: Lake Placid's Winter Sports and Games – Gallery Reception
Join The Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society and the Lake Placid Public Library for light refreshments to view and enjoy their joint Pop-Up Exhibit, "Forging a Legacy: Lake Placid's Winter Sports and Games." The exhibit features items and photos from the Lake Placid Club, the Sno Birds, College Week, the Pee Wee program, and other local endeavors to expand winter sports in the US.
The exhibit has been on display since February 6 and also features some Olympic memorobelia in the library display case.
