More about the show

The “Four Seasons Fashion Show” is being presented as a fundraiser by the Garden Club of Lake Placid for a memorial in honor of Ruth Hart at the LPCA. Ruth was active in beautifying Lake Placid as she served on the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals for many years. One of her favorite activities for over 60 years was being part of the Garden Club of Lake Placid. She hosted multiple garden club meetings; chaired the flower committee for the 1980 Winter Olympics; created many flower shows; annually transplanted hundreds of begonias; and had many gatherings at her “church garden.” Her vision and dedication preserved much of the beauty and character of the visage. Ruth Hart, flowers, and beautiful Lake Placid are synonymous.
