Free pancake breakfast offers family-friendly event during Mother's Day weekend.

North Country School & Camp Treetops invites local residents and neighbors to "Flapjacks on the Farm,” the organization’s annual community-wide pancake breakfast, on Saturday, May 10 from 9-11:00 a.m. This free, family-friendly event provides a unique opportunity to experience the North Country School & Camp Treetops campus and a working, educational farm outside of Lake Placid. 

A large percentage of the morning’s meal will be sourced directly from the North Country School & Camp Treetops farm, sugarbush, and other local and regional farms. In addition to the breakfast, attendees can enjoy tours of the campus barn as well as hayrides and a mini market featuring local nonprofits, North Country School & Camp Treetops merchandise, and a spring plant sale, with seedlings started by North Country School students as part of their Edible Schoolyard programming. 

The event highlights the school's commitment to sustainable living, experiential education, and community engagement. 

“Flapjacks on the Farm” is free and open to the public.
