The Elements: Images of Hope
Westport artist Dan Keegan challenges visitors to his Climate Change exhibition at the Adirondack History Museum with “Images of Hope.”
The drawings—on display through October 12 in the Museum’s Rosenberg Gallery—revolve around the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water.
“It is the idea of the natural harmony among these elements that led to the creation of this exhibition, addressing the climate crisis and the disharmony we are experiencing today,” said Keegan. “The works in this exhibition are intended to be signifiers of the fragility of our planet and that we can and must come together to address pressing issues.”
An Exhibition Celebration is scheduled for July 11, 5–7:00 p.m. Dan Keegan will be in attendance to discuss his work and inspiration. Artwork is available for purchase directly from the artist. This exhibit, curated by Dan Keegan and Frissie Reed (Museum Trustee), is funded in part by Essex County Arts Council and the New York State Council on the Arts.
