Welcome Orientation for J-1 Workers - June 13th
Lake Placid will once again host international student workers through the J-1 Visa program this summer. To help them start their experience on the right foot, we’re hosting a Welcome Orientation Session — and we’d love your help spreading the word.

- Lake Placid Conference Center
This one-hour session will introduce student workers to our community and provide helpful information about local resources including shopping, healthcare, recreation, transportation, and key local policies. It’s a chance to make them feel welcomed, informed, and excited about the season ahead. Students can enjoy a light breakfast during the session.
We encourage you to share this opportunity with your J-1 employees and support their attendance. Printed resource guides, safety lights, and Lake Placid Legacy Site access passes will be provided for all participants.
