ESWG: Alpine Competitions at Whiteface Mountain

Alpine Skiing: NYSSRA U16 & U19 Competitions

From Friday, February 20 to Sunday, February 22, Whiteface Mountain will host alpine athletes for a weekend of high-speed technical and speed disciplines. 

Event Overview

• Venue: Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Wilmington, NY

• Athletes: U16 and U19 divisions (Junior racers aged 14–18)

• Disciplines: A combination of Slalom (SL), Giant Slalom (GS), and Super Giant Slalom (Super G) across three days.

Spectator Information

• Atmosphere: Expect an environment with team cheers and the "Where Chill Meets Will" spirit that defines the Empire State Winter Games.

• Cost: All Empire State Winter Games events are free to watch (though a lift ticket is required if you wish to ski to specific viewing locations on the mountain).
