Author Talk with Joe Looby at the Lake Placid Public Library

Join the Lake Placid Public Library for a special author event ahead of Purple Heart Day. Navy veteran and author Joe Looby will discuss The Tenth Trail Mark, his WWII historical novel inspired by the 10th Mountain Division’s campaign in Italy and by his father, Jim Looby’s, service with the division.

This 30-minute multimedia presentation will feature historic photographs connecting Lake Placid, the 10th Mountain Division, and the story behind the book, followed by audience questions.
