Adirondack Mountain Club Free Naturalist Series: Beginner Winter Tree Identification

Have you ever looked at a leafless tree and wondered, who are you? During this program an ADK naturalist will walk participants through different ways to identify winter trees. Learn how to use identification tools such as dichotomous keys and how the anatomy of winter trees reveals who they are.
This program is recommended for participants ages 16 and up. Participants should be prepared to spend half of the program time outside hiking on rolling trails. Snowshoes will be provided if needed.
