Construction on Adirondack Rail Trail Station Street Parking

Construction on the Adirondack Rail Trail Station Street parking lot, the Lake Placid terminus of the 34-mile Rail Trail, will begin on May 5 and continue through the summer season. While construction is underway, the parking lot will be closed.

Alternate Parking

Adirondack Rail Trail users can park in the snow field adjacent to the Lake Placid Fire Department on Old Military Road and access the Rail Trail from that point.

Parking on Station Street is discouraged.
