Celebrate Summer Solstice with Adirondack Mountain Club
Fun, fire, and festivity will all be ablaze at the Summer Solstice Celebration! Join an ADK naturalist to learn more about the science of the solstice, its cultural significance, and some of the ways it has been and is enjoyed around the world. We'll start with a short "night" hike ending in front of the Loj where we'll have a bonfire, smores, and crafts. Welcome in summer and soak in every ounce of sun on the longest day of the year!
The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) welcomes people of all backgrounds and is committed to fostering a safe space for everyone to learn.
Note: Registration, while not mandatory, is highly encouraged to enable the instructor to best prepare.
