Adirondack Health 5K Turkey Trot
November 26 | Beach House in Lake Placid, NY
Join us for Adirondack Health's 17th Annual Turkey Trot, a cherished Thanksgiving Day tradition in the Adirondacks! This flat 5K walk/run takes you around Mirror Lake, and we're anticipating over 600 participants this year. All registered participants receive a long-sleeve Turkey Trot t-shirt.
All proceeds benefit the Local Food Pantry and Adirondack Health's Fit for Life Scholarship Fund. Please bring 3 or more non-perishable food items.
Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place overall male and female finishers. If you can "stuff the turkey" by beating the mystery Turkey Runner to the finish line, you'll earn bragging rights at your Thanksgiving table and a yummy award! All are welcome.

Date: Thursday, November 26, 2026 (Thanksgiving Day)
Start time: 8:30 AM
Location: Beach House, Lake Placid, NY
Course: Flat 5K around Mirror Lake
Cost: $45 for individual day-of registration. Register before race day for a discount.
Kids: Kids 10 and under run, walk, or stroll free and receive a bib at packet pick-up, plus a prize at the finish line. They only need to be registered online if you'd like them to receive a Turkey Trot t-shirt.
Check-In & Bib Pick-Up
Wednesday, November 25: 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Beach House
Thursday, November 26: 6:30 to 8:00 AM at the Beach House (look for the 12-foot inflatable turkeys!)
Day-of registration is also available from 6:30 to 8:00 AM at the Beach House.
