In the Lake Placid area Kids Camps are as varied as the people the community attracts. We have the traditional summer camps where kids learn how to paddle a canoe, swim, hike, and enjoy toasting marshmallows over a fire. But, this town which is known for the historic victory of the US hockey team over Russia in the 1980 Olympic Winter Games also can boast two Hockey Camps. Rich in culture, the area also offers several day camps which specialize in the visual arts, theatre, and dance.
