Between the western shores of Lake Champlain in the shadow of New York’s Adirondack Mountains, Champ’s Cuisine Trail starts in Plattsburgh and goes to Rouses Point. Named for Lake Champlain’s infamous sea monster, this trail offers ample chances to spot the legendary creature while tasting the bounty of the land.

Adirondack Harvest

Adirondack Harvest is a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Essex County and serves as a marketing platform for the North Country region’s farmers and producers and an educational resource for locals and visitors alike. Their mission is to increase opportunities for profitable and sustainable production, sale of high quality and nutritious agricultural products, and expanding consumer choices for locally produced food. The mission ensures future preservation and growth of farmland while providing a diversity of nutritious food products and educational resources for consumers.
