A great choice for hiking, as there are trails on the property. There's also Scarface trailhead 0.5 miles to the west, and Haystack Mountain and McKenzie Mountain trailhead 1.3 miles east.

Only 4 miles away from the village, the campground offers wonderful amenities and countless outdoor recreation activities. Campsites with hot showers, flush toilets, a trailer dump station, a recycling center, a picnic area with pavilions, and hiking trails are the park's featured amenities.
