A great choice for hiking, as there are trails on the property. There's also Scarface trailhead 0.5 miles to the west, and Haystack Mountain and McKenzie Mountain trailhead 1.3 miles east.

Meadowbrook is the best bargain in town for those visiting the Lake Placid Olympic training venues or the outdoor recreation activities in the Saranac Lake area. Only 4 miles away from either village, the campground offers wonderful amenities and countless outdoor recreation activities.

Campsites with hot showers, flush toilets, a trailer dump station, a recycling center, a picnic area with pavilions, and hiking trails are the park's featured amenities.
