Local Airports

Plattsburgh International Airport (PBG)
Just one hour north of Lake Placid, Plattsburgh International Airport is conveniently located off New York's I-87, on beautiful Lake Champlain. There is daily scheduled flight service between Plattsburgh International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport.

Adirondack Regional Airport - Saranac Lake Located in Lake Clear, 16 miles from Lake Placid, it offers easy access to the entire region. Hertz and Enterprise rental cars are available on site by advance reservation only. Service by Cape Air.

Lake Placid Airport
The Lake Placid Municipal Airport is about one mile south of the village on Route 73. Hours of operation: 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily. 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. in July & August. Runway: 4,200 feet. Services: Air Charter flights from most airports, scenic flights, tie down, and repairs. 518-523-2473.
