Get ready for the 40th annual Whiteface Mountain Uphill Foot Race on Saturday, June 6, 2026!
The Whiteface Mountain Uphill Foot Race climbs 3,500 feet over 8 miles up the scenic Whiteface Mountain Veterans' Memorial Highway to the top of New York’s 5th highest peak for a 360° panoramic view of the Adirondacks, New England, and Canada.
Race Details
The race starts at 5:30p.m. at the intersection of Rt 431 and Rt 86. Staging will begin at 5:00p.m.
Packet pick-up is available Friday, June 5 from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. and on race day, Saturday, June 6, from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. at the Whiteface Visitors Bureau (5753 NY-86, Wilmington, NY 12997).
Packet will include your bib and t-shirt.
There will be a bag drop vehicle at the starting line if you desire a change of clothes for the top. Please make sure you have your name and phone number on or in the bag.
You may have someone meet you at the top. We will sell spectator passes at registration. These are cash only and a per person price. We will also have limited shuttle service for those who don’t have a support vehicle for their descent down the mountain. If you will need to use this service, please indicate this on your registration.
