Forager–led Mushroom ID Walk
Join a NY-State Certified Mushroom Forager on a walk around Heart Lake Property!
On this walk, you will focus on general fungi knowledge, fertile surface types, spore colors, notable scents, and basic tree I.D. The goal is to have a blast and identify as many fungi as you can!
Participants should come dressed in appropriate attire to recreate in a variety of different weather and trail conditions. Parking is included in the program, please arrive early to ensure an on time start to the program.
This program is open to all ages, but children must be supervised.
The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) welcomes people of all backgrounds and is committed to fostering a safe space for everyone to learn.
