Adirondack Film presents The Lake Placid Film Festival

November 7-10, 2024

The Lake Placid Film Festival is proud to celebrate the community of film industry amateurs, professionals, and just plain movie buffs, with award-winning shorts screenings, cutting-edge feature-length films, educational seminars, mixers, receptions, tributes, directors, producers; and you: all wrapped in the mystical, magical village of Lake Placid, NY. 

Amazing Films + A Beautiful Place = The Perfect 4 Days

After a near record-breaking attendance during its 2023 edition, Adirondack Film has announced the dates for the 2024 Lake Placid Film Festival. Named one of the best Film Festival Vacation Destinations by MovieMaker Magazine, the Lake Placid Film Festival will run Thursday, November 7 through Sunday, November 10, 2024.

As you wait with anticipation for the 2024 Lake Placid Film Festival, check out Adirondack Film's year-round “See Something That Means Something” film series at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts! Films are shown at 7:00 p.m. on the third Friday of each month. Tickets are available at the door for $15 or online at adirondackfilm.org.

Adirondack Film is a nonprofit organization designed to advance the art and the appreciation of film and filmmaking in the greater Adirondack region. The organization’s goals include presenting high-quality independent, art, foreign language, documentary, and high-end studio films - those not typically shown at the local multiplex. Adirondack Film encourages local filmmaking, promotes regional filmmakers and serves independent movie theater owners.
