Friday Night Bike Jam
The Friday Night Bike Jam will bring the excitement of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series to Main Street, Lake Placid! This free community celebration of bicycling coincides with the start of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series on Friday, October 2.

When: Friday, October 2, from 5:30–7:30 p.m.

Dialed Action BMS & Trials Show: Witness tricks and stunts performed by elite riders!
Kids Skills Park: Bring the kids' bikes and let them try out some family-friendly features!
Music: Bike to the beat of a drumline and dance to live DJ sets.
Local Vendors: Check out the offerings of local organizations and vendors.
Touch a Truck: Have a hands-on experience with some heavy machinery.
Parking:
Biking and walking to the event are highly encouraged! The Lake Placid High School parking lot will be open for public parking.
UCI Mountain Bike World Series
In its third year in Lake Placid, the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series will bring top mountain bike athletes from around the world to compete in the final Cross-Country and Downhill World Cup races of the 2026 season at Mt Van Hoevenberg and Whiteface Mountain.
