From the Loj Road you will have to ski South Meadow Lane for 1mile to access the Klondike Notch Trail. The road starts out heading easily uphill before descending very slightly to the gated road on the right. This gated road is the truck trail. This XC ski is a very popular one and as it should be, it’s nearly perfect for the entire family.
Once at the gate you will continue downhill slightly to the trail register on the right, please sign in for your safety. Once across the bridge over South Meadow Brook you will enjoy a very gentle ski that lasts well into the spring season. The road consists of many rolling hills and few bridges to cross, but along this route you will gain less than 300 feet in elevation. The ski out is much more refreshing and a ton of fun for everyone.

Additional Important Information:
Skiing over a frozen body of water is a cross-country skiing past time; it can access you to areas not seen by most in the summer. With that being said it is a dangerous activity to cross frozen water bodies and should be done with care and respect for your environment. Know the ice conditions and be prepared for anything including heavy winds, snow drifts, whiteouts, slushy conditions, and thin ice.
