The Holiday Village Stroll is a Lake Placid tradition that is an entire weekend chock full of events, entertainment, dining specials, and shopping in the fairy tale winter wonderland of Lake Placid. Bring your little ones — there are a lot of free kids activities, and Santa himself always makes appearances in several locations throughout the weekend. For adults, there are dining specials and live entertainment that stretches into the late evening hours.

Take a guided run prior to the opening and enjoy the freshies with this free program for intermediate and advanced skiers and riders. Limited to 14 skiers/riders.

Whiteface Mountain: Open normal operating hours from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm for skiing and riding.
First Tracks: Available at 7:45 am, first come, first serve basis. Reserve by calling Guest Services at (518) 946-2223 (x 8510) or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Intermediate and advanced skiers/riders only (Limited to 14 per day)
Gondola Rides: 8:30 am - 3:15 pm
Olympic Sports Complex
Skeleton Experience: Open 12/26 -12/29* from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Bobsled Experience: Open 12/26 - 12/31* from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm & 1:00 - 4:00 pm
*To make a reservation, please call 518-523-4436 and allow 48 hours notice. Walk-ins are welcome!
Mt. Van Hoevenberg XC Ski Center: Open from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and self-guided tours (Open Christmas Day 11:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Josie's Cabin: Open Daily 9:00 am - 4:00 pm - ski to woodland destination - Delicious food & hot beverages, bonfire and s'mores
Discover Biathlon: Open 12/26 - 12/31 from10:00 am & 1:00 pm
Olympic Jumping Complex: Open from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm for self guided tours (Chairlift and Elevator to the Skydeck)
