Events in Lake Placid

Perfect start to winter

As early-winter settles into the region and snow starts blanketing our mountain town, we think more about cold-weather events. Early December will see Luge, Skeleton and Bobsled World Cup events. Lake Placid will come alive for the very popular Lake Placid Holiday Village Stroll on the second weekend in December. Bring the kids to meet Santa and partake in lots of free family-fun activities during the Stroll. Of course, there are also lots of activities for adults including tastings and live music!
Many more events fill the calendar, so browse through the listings. You’re bound to find at least one reason to visit Lake Placid during the winter season!
