NewVida is a 2000-acre mountainous preserve close to Whiteface with a heartfelt History as Paleface Ski Mountain, restored beautifully with a Lodge, Restaurant, Craft Bar, Bistro, wellness center with Yoga, Massage, Ayurveda, Reiki and 35+ miles of trails. Our restaurant service takes place on Friday & Saturday nights from 5-9pm in the Great Room of the main lodge at NewVida, where the hustle of the historic Paleface Ski Mountain once took place. The Great Room has 50-ft A-frame ceilings, beautifully restored wood-work, incredible sunsets and views of Whiteface Mountain. This is a warm and inviting gathering place where all are welcome and where you can come to unwind and enjoy good food, drinks, conversation and music. The menu is farm-to-table and changes regularly depending on the theme and what’s in season. We welcome families, have a kids menu, host large parties and have takeout. Reservations are encouraged but walk-ins are also welcome.

 

If you're seeking a more casual experience, our Craft Bar and a billiards room are right next to the restaurant and are open each Thursday through Sunday from 5-10pm. The bar is in a stunning A-frame room with high ceilings, beautiful woodwork and views, a picturesque angular bar made with vintage skis and a huge fireplace. Sit fireside in one of our cozy booths and enjoy creative cocktails along with a wide selection of local beer and wine and a delicious small plates or tapas menu. We have live music every Friday and Saturday night and special events like dancing, paint & sips and performances on Thursdays and Sundays. The billiards room has pool & ping pong tables and a TV nook for sports & movie nights. And starting on December 3rd, we'll start to open at 12pm on Sundays for brunch tapas and drinks. It's the perfect spot to unwind after skiing!

 

Our bistro is open for breakfast and lunch and includes a variety of customizable burritos, bowls and bagels as well as some homemade items like ooey gooey cookies, ice cream and soup- a little bit of everything to satisfy all of our cravings. The menu is hearty and delicious and made with locally sourced ingredients. All are No reservations are required required and you can either dine-in in the quaint cafe or order takeout online for pick up. Make sure you take advantage of the loyalty program where you earn and can apply discounts to all food & beverages at the bistro, bar & restaurant!
