LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series has announced that The Pines Inn will, once again, be the Whole Note (Title) Sponsor for the 2018 season.  This is the tenth year that The Pines Inn has committed to supporting the music series.  In addition, Adirondack “By Owner” returns as the Half Note (Presenting) Sponsor for the eighth consecutive year.  The Pines Inn Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series presented by Adirondack “By Owner” is held at 7:00PM on seven Tuesdays throughout the summer at Mid’s Park on Main Street, Lake Placid. 

These weekly performances, running from June 26 through August 7, feature local, regional and national acts in the scenic and historic setting of Mid’s Park on Main Street, Lake Placid, New York.  The series features local and regional emerging artists in a variety of musical genres and provides valuable exposure to these up and coming acts.  The music series is also an opportunity to introduce residents and visitors to a diverse range of musical genres in a scenic and relaxing setting.

In its thirteenth year, The Pines Inn Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series presented by Adirondack “By Owner” is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is comprised of a volunteer committee with all expenses covered by sponsorship and donations. It is truly a community inspired initiative that has produced a lineup that includes the following upcoming performances:

Tuesday, June 26:     Acoustic Folk Night with Rhiannon Giddens and special guest Amythyst Kiah

Tuesday, July 3:     Blues Night with Vanessa Collier

Tuesday, July 10:     Soul Night with James Hunter Six

Tuesday, July 17:     Southern Rock Night with Devon Allman Project and special guest Duane Betts

Tuesday, July 24:     Local Reggae Night with JT Cubbanah and Brethrens

Tuesday, July 31:     Funk Night with West End Blend

Tuesday, August 7:    Americana Jam Night with Hayley Jane and the Primates
