LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series has announced that The Pines Inn will, once again, be the Whole Note (Title) Sponsor for the 2015 season.  This is the seventh year that The Pines Inn has committed to supporting the music series.  In addition, Adirondack “By Owner” returns as the Half Note (Presenting) Sponsor for the fifth consecutive year.  The Pines Inn Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series presented by Adirondack “By Owner” is held at 7 p.m. on seven Tuesdays throughout the summer at Mid’s Park on Main Street, Lake Placid. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series. As a celebration of some of the great music that has been offered through this free event, the organizers have announced a “Best of” lineup and are bringing back seven performers/bands who have been favorites over the past ten years.

These weekly performances, running from June 30  through August 11, feature local, regional and national acts in the scenic and historic setting of Mid’s Park on Main Street, Lake Placid, New York. The series features local and regional emerging artists in a variety of musical genres and provides valuable exposure to these up and coming acts.  The music series is also an opportunity to introduce residents and visitors to a diverse range of musical genres in a scenic and relaxing setting.
 
In its 10th year, The Pines Inn Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series presented by Adirondack “By Owner” is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is comprised of a volunteer committee with all expenses covered by sponsorship and donations. It is truly a community inspired initiative that has produced a 10th Anniversary “Best of” lineup that includes the following upcoming performances:

Tuesday, August 4: Rockin’ Roots Night with Back Porch Society (formerly Roadside Mystic) (2011)
 
Tuesday, August 11: Blues Night with Quinn Sullivan (2014)
