Celebrate the holidays at the Whiteface Lodge

A stunning 25-foot balsam Christmas tree has been selected to grace Whiteface Lodge’s elegantly rustic Kanu restaurant, trimmed with items befitting the resort’s Adirondack setting, like full-size ice skates and mittens, icicles, snowflakes and jingle bells. The Lake Placid, New York resort will open its doors to the public for a festive tree-lighting ceremony on Thursday, November 30 at 6 p.m.. An annual celebration of friendship for the community, Whiteface Lodge welcomes all to enjoy complimentary snacks, hot chocolate, and mulled cider while the brass quintet, The Backwoods Brass, provides musical entertainment and Santa Claus makes a special guest appearance for photos.
