Shades Inside the Blueline

The film explores various views about race and racism in the Adirondacks, a region with largely homogeneous communities that are not often forced to examine their beliefs and perspectives around race. It shares personal stories from minorities explaining the racism they've experienced in the region but also explores plans to help the Adirondacks ultimately become more inclusive. The showing will be accompanied by a question-and-answer session with the filmmaker, Mountain Lake PBS producer, and video editor Michael Hansen. 2022, 56 mins. Free admission to the showing.
