LAKE PLACID, ADIRONDACKS USA - Lake Placid will welcome 1,000 Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) members for the 103rd Annual Delegates Meeting on October 21-25, 2013.

CSEA is a union of workers who join together in solidarity to have clout at the negotiating table, in the political arena and in their communities on issues of fair wages, health insurance, benefits, leave time and workplace rules.

"The CSEA has been meeting in Lake Placid since the 1985," said Maryjane Lawrence, director of sales and marketing for the Conference Center at Lake Placid. "The entire community is excited to welcome them to Lake Placid once again."

Local businesses should note that all of the CSEA meetings will be held a the Conference Center at Lake Placid, Monday -Thursday 9-5 p.m. and Friday until 12 p.m. All meals will be on their own, with the exception of the The Annual Dinner, which will be hosted at the Olympic Center's 1980 Rink Wednesday evening 7-10pm; lunch breaks will be 12:30-1:30 each day.
