LAKE PLACID, ADIRONDACKS, USA - A few weeks ago, there was no Empire State Winter Games.

Hours later, however, a broad regional coalition in the Northern Adirondacks saved the competition. Now, a comprehensive website has been launched, complete with an area for athlete registration and links for general event-related information - and athlete registrations have started coming in!

All pertinent news and information can be found at www.empirestatewintergames.com.

The site will continue its build-out over the next two months, expanding on resources such as race schedules, rosters, rules and results. It is anticipated that two of the most visited links will be the event blog and the alumni section, where past competitors submitted experiences will be posted.

Those who wish to join the spirited collaboration that will continue the tradition of the Empire State Winter Games will also find a donation form on the site. And Games alumni are encouraged to send their stories by email to Kathy Pfohl, Program Director.
