Women's Suffrage in the Adirondacks
In part of the 2019 Winter Lecture Series, please join us for 'Women's Suffrage in the Adirondacks' presented by Margaret Bartley. Margaret Bartley, Historian, Author and Vice President of the Adirondack History Museum, will present a slide/lecture on the role of Adirondackers in the struggle to win Women the right to vote. All lectures are free and open to the public. The Lake Placid History Museum will open at 5 pm, we invite you to arrive early to explore our updated exhibits! The Museum officially opens for the summer season May 25.
